These terms and conditions are governing the use of The Southside Catering Website. The website is owned and operated by Southside Catering (Melluso Hospitality Pty Ltd). If you use this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the below terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time.
ORDERING AND CANCELLATIONS
All catering is made fresh to order and therefore cut off times are required. Please refer to individual items on website for these cut off times. Alternatively, please email any special last-minute requests to [email protected] OR call 0423 253 713. All prices are subject to change. Any additional charges incurred will be invoiced after the event.
Twenty-four hours’ notice must be provided for all cancellations or 100% of the full order charge will apply. Refunds will be held as a credit or returned via direct deposit.
Postponed events must be re-booked at the time of postponement to ensure it is not deemed as a cancellation.
DELIVERY
Please allow half an hour on either side of your preferred delivery time as a contingency for any travel/ logistics issues that may arise. Delivery fees may apply to your location – this can be viewed at the checkout, alternatively please contact us directly [email protected] OR call 0423 253 713. Southside Catering reserves the rights to impose a minimum spend OR fee for delivery.
PAYMENTS AND INVOICES
A tax invoice will be issued on day of the order. All orders require prepayment in full at the time of ordering unless an existing account is in place. Payment options are direct deposit or via credit card. Please provide your PO number for invoicing. We accept Visa, Master Card and AMEX. All credit card transactions incur a 2.5% + GST processing surcharge. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude 10% goods and services tax.
CATERING FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please provide Southside Catering with all your dietary requirements at the time of ordering. The Southside Catering Kitchen may contain traces of nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, other allergens, and non-halal foods. We understand the importance of catering for dietary requirements, and this is reflected in our work processes. However, it cannot be 100% guaranteed that allergen and dietary requirements can be met, and therefore Southside Catering accepts no liability.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Laws of The State of Queensland.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Southside Catering, our directors and employees will not be liable for any losses, claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses including legal fees suffered by you from the use of this website.
REFUND POLICY
You can receive a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.
